The Ameteur Play

This dream happened April 24ish, 2005. Lauren and I were in my hometown, Highland Falls. We were at my old church watching my old Catholic elementary school put on a play. We were sitting kind in the back and we were holding hands. The play was awful. The kids were nervous and they didn't know how to act and they were forgettin their lines. It was bad. There was this one part where the kids were to go out in the audience and bring people on stage. I went. When I got up there I realized I was the only one up there from the audience. I saw my parents in the crowd. I saw my dad. He had a proud look on his face. In his face I could see the comment: "I miss the days when you did plays in high school." Anyway, I was on stage and all the kids froze. I improved to get things going, but none of the kids responded. The director, who was also the school principle (who was also Greg Carmer), got frustrated. He went on stage and closed the curtain. He scolded to kids, and tried to think up ways to save the show. I went back at sat down next to Lauren. We continued holding hands. Then I woke up.

I just dreamed that I was at your house for the summer, only it wasn't really your house. And it was like THE hang out place--there were a bunch of people always coming in and out (including some really sketchy people pretending to be Amish--you ended up leaving this big elaborate Thanksgivingish-type dinner that we were having to go help them). And Doug's little brother was there, only he was your little brother instead. He and I were alone in the house for a little while just chillin', then he had a bunch of his friends over and things got crazy. And the last thing I remember is a little white dog getting bitten by a snake and having spasms... Judd, why are my dreams so bizarre and randomly pieced together and yours are so much cooler?
